The Adapting to Rising Tides Program will be holding the next Regional Working Group meeting on February 14, from 1-4PM at the Novato City Hall.
This is the third of twelve RWG meetings that will take place over the next year and half for the ART Bay Area project. In the first two meetings, which took place in late 2017, the group discussed the scope of the project and identified factors that are important to the region to highlight in the vulnerability assessment.
The February 14th meeting will serve as an opportunity for working group members to provide input on the preliminary outputs of the project team’s vulnerability assessment work. We will focus on the issue of scale by discussing the balance between a region-wide analysis and place-based assessments. This meeting will also provide an opportunity to discuss the project’s public outreach strategy and check out the revised resilience goals.
