We are excited to share the news that our partners in the region have released a new report called the “Adaptation Atlas,” which serves to help guide sea level rise adaptation planning for the San Francisco Bay Area.
The “Adaptation Atlas” is a groundbreaking new study that “works with nature to provide science-based climate adaptation options for the Bay Area and beyond.” The Adapting to Rising Tides (ART) Bay Area project has been working with the San Francisco Estuary Institute (SFEI) to utilize the newest science coming out of their report and help guide our regional adaptation planning work. Please see the press release from SFEI/SPUR below for more information on the new Adaptation Atlas, or learn more about how the ART Bay Area project is leveraging this new science to help inform adaptation strategies for the Bay Area.
